WASHINGTON — U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg traveled to Western Montana to highlight investments made possible by President’s Biden’s Investing in America Agenda.
Buttigieg will begin by touring the Missoula Montana Airport and then host a press conference highlighting federal investments in the project.
Today, U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg will travel to Western Montana to highlight major investments made possible thanks to President Biden’s Investing in America Agenda.
This afternoon Secretary Buttigieg will begin his visit in Montana by touring the terminal expansion project at the Missoula Montana Airport and then host a press conference to highlight federal investments in the project. Later in the day, he will visit with student apprentices at the University of Montana Missoula College Industrial Tech Program.
On Tuesday, the Secretary will travel to the Flathead Indian Reservation to participate in a roundtable with The Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes and hear from Tribal leaders on their infrastructure priorities. He will then host a press conference near US-93 to highlight federal funding going to make the road safer for drivers and wildlife in the area.
